What is it? A one-day conference for grade 9 and 10 girls from Whitehorse and rural communities providing hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and role models
(women working in math and science).

Workshops: Workshops are 45 minutes long and are offered in these exciting fields (subject to change):

• Aviation
• All about Marketing
• Behind the scenes Broadcasting
• Biology goes bananas-DNA
• Medicine - there’s a Doctor in the house
• Fur, fins and feathers - Veterinary medicine
• Get connected: between NWTel and you!
• What’s in a WATT?

Each workshop is designed to produce something tangible for the girls to take away, to the extent practical. Each participant will take part in a total of three workshops.
