YWITT Maker's Club presents: Chainsaw Maintenance in partnership with Yukonstruct

It’s wood-cutting season! Join us for this hands-on session on how to properly maintain your own chainsaw and troubleshoot common issues.

This workshop is meant for people who have prior experience starting and operating a chainsaw. Participants are encouraged to bring their own saw, or a saw that they use regularly themselves.

We will cover topics such as:

• fuels and lubricants; 

• chain tensioning; 

• chain sharpening; 

• air filter maintenance; and

• bar condition.

If you already have some of your own chainsaw maintenance tools, please bring them!

This workshop is for women and gender-diverse adults ages 18+.

Pizza will be provided.

NOTE: This workshop will not provide an introduction to chainsaw operation for people who have no prior experience.
